* During 1954 – 1955, the 76ers won the Division Finals against the Celtics (3-1), and they won the NBA Finals against the Pistons (4-3).

* During 1966 - 1967, the Philadelphia 76ers won the Division Semifinals against the Royals, the Division Finals against the Celtics, and the NBA Finals against the Warriors. They played against the Warriors and won 4-2. The Most Valued Player (MVP) was Wilt Chamberlain.

* During 1982 – 1983, the Philadelphia 76ers won the Conference Semifinals against the Knicks, 4-0. They won the Conference Finals against the Bucks, 4-1. The Philadelphia 76ers won the NBA Finals against the LA Lakers, 4 – 0. The Most Valued Player (MVP) was Moses Malone.

* During 2000 -2001, the Philadelphia 76ers made it all the way to the NBA finals, but they lost against the LA Lakers 4-1. The MVP was Allen Iversen. On their way to the NBA finals, they beat the Pacers 3-1, the Raptors 4-3, and the Bucks 4-3.
